This is the one minute story on how I came to make the teeth4life App. A bit difficult cramming in forty years reflection😁

This is nearer ten minutes, but has a bit more detail.
I never had much supervision on leaving dental school , which is why I became a trainer. I needed it.
I was lucky as I found a mentor after three years , who was the chairman of the Pankey Institute in the UK.
He said don't believe everything you were taught in dental school. He was right. I became interested in dentistry, questioned opinions, and started to enjoy my work.

These videos are for Instagram and a combination of different software but possibly look more professional. There are more here in the marketing section, with instructions on adding your voice.

This is the INFO video on the home page. As you can see the front page has changed since the video was made. And I added an emergency section following Covid.

As a DCP you can register for free.
You can do it on your phone in about ten minutes.
The profile bio cna be changed, but the services are fixed. To change the services at the moment you would have to register as a dentist, and pay.

My vision has always been to try and Promote Public Prevention in Oral Health.
The idea is by giving all DCPs an eHealth Product that will support their role by saving you time, and promoting your services. It explains the BPE to the patient visually, and encourages them to take control of their health by gamification. You send an email template with the BPE, some video links and the App does the rest.

But you don't seem to use it? I need your feedback. I need to know what your pain points are and how I can develop a product you will engage with, share, and then the public will use and share as a trustworthy resource promoted by the profession following the current government guidelines in Delivering Better Oral Health.
I have tried for a year to get government funding for this, and it will come as no surprise that none is available. I intend to charge dentists, as they have more to gain by promoting their services.

These are the three videos plus text that will be included in the Freemium version of the App. If you want to add extra services to your profile, then there will be a £10 charge.

For a white labelled template in the future it will be £20. I have interviewed about fifteen people, but I need more data for it to be a success for all of us

I have been interviewing DCPs and the public in the Bristol area, for improving the content of the current App, as well as how to improve it. I have been doing it face to face, but happy to zoom. The insight from the interviews is to help produce something of value for everyone. Can you help me with this?
If you are part of a study group of hygienists, then it would be ideal for a group online meeting.

This is part of the process in improving the App, as well as a future version. I am getting support from design for growth, and one other government sponsored group totally unrelated to dentistry, but with the experience of developing a useable product.

I hope to crowdfund the Premium version of the App in March, as so far it's been totally self funded. All the content is following my forty years in Dentistry, and more recently learning how to make videos.
For it to progress and have a viable future it will need more investment. I hope you can help.

This is a five minute pitch made for the dental profession. Please show the rest of your practice. It would be far better if we could fund the App ourselves rather than rely on a large corporate business.
