some recommended books
I'm 60, so I have read a few books. I read too quickly, and instantly forget characters names, and huge amounts, but I remember little bits. These two made the bestselling list. I liked them so much, I passed them on.....see my favourite book at the bottom.
Do No Harm; he wrote part while spending two days in a large lecture on compliance. The other part how when lecturing on his poor outcomes to an American audience, no one was interested.
If no time to read, listen to his DID,
The other book is funny, but with a sad ending. Again why we older dentists should try and promote change to help the younger generation.

Ebooks: David Cameron recommended Nudge to his cabinet. It talks about choice architecture, and David Cameron recommended Nudge to his cabinet. It talks about choice architecture and paternal libertarianism. An example is when you went to the cashpoint in the past, you had to remove your card before you could get your cash.
I've tried to use it in the scoring in the App, as gamification. I shared my Homo Sapiens, it states something like " when the NHS was set up the public has malnutrition, now over 20% of hospital beds are taken due to overeating." I didn't read the Apple watch book. I watched videos. They are more current. The watches gradually improve with software updates. Iterative software updates occurred telling me to stand-fitness, breathe-mindfulness, and soon I will get an alarm if I haven't cleaned my hands for the full 20 seconds.
With your feedback, i can improve my App, and if you download it, it will be our APP.
This is a video I made about The Future six months ago. It needs updating!

Parkinson's law refers to Bureaucracy, and it's more relevant now than it ever was. Hopkins did more for dental health in the USA before the war. He wasn't a psychologist. He was in advertising and the used coupons in newspapers. Coupons are out of fashion, and we now use discount codes online often on our mobile phone. These mobile phones I've used to reinforce the habit loop that Hopkins described using reminders that you can advise your patients to set.
Another business guru back describes the NHS positively in the 60's, and then negatively in the 70's. Listen to Peter Drucker. He has a great voice in many ways. |
I have been coming here for the last 30 years. I remember telling the family about 15 years ago about Deepak Chopra's second Law- "The Law of Giving" one summer's day. It was their most united response. It was rubbish! I still believe, though.
It's my favourite book, it helps being thin with large text. Apparently, he wrote the whole book on a long-distance flight.
I read the big white book on a flight home from Sydney via Tokyo.
I had a lightbulb moment, in how we can make prevention pay.
If only I were 30years younger. If interested contact me.
